About the Book

Sanjeev Kumar Sharma has more than 16 years of experience in research &development department of multinational food company both at national and global role. Though he has been in food industry, but he has 18 years of association and interaction with students. He is also the author of book entitled Objective Food Science & Safety Standards (2015) and Science of Cocoa Processing (2006) and has two scientific papers published in a national scientific journal. He is also the Joint Secretary of AFSTI (Mumbai Chapter). He completed BTech (Food Science) from MAU Parbhani and MSc (Food Technology) from CFTRI Mysore. He is ICAR NET qualified and has several other academic credentials. He is the recipient of CFTRatna Award (2015) by CFT Parbhani Alumni Association and Best Student Award (2006) by Association of Food Scientists and Technologists of India. For his excellent academic performance at CFTRI Mysore, he was awarded with Food Ingredient Specialties Scholarship, JS Pruthi Gold Medal and AhnPeong Gold Medal. He was the visiting faculty of MAEER'S MIT College of Food Technology Pune and delivered lectures at GB Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, Symbiosis Institute of Agri-Business Management Pune and several colleges in Mumbai.

He is the founder of an online forum for food professionals aiming at enhancing the network of people from food fraternity. He uses this website as a virtual coaching center to guide the students and professionals by resolving their technical and professional queries. Harshad Kiran Kalwit completed BTech(Food Science) from Marathwada Agricultural University, Parbhani, Maharashtra in 2005. In 2007 he completed MTech in Food Technology and Engineering from UICT, Mumbai. He is 2nd rank holder in ICT entrance exam for M.Tech in Flavour Technology. Currently he is working with multinational organization in Innovation and Development division.
